What’s the quickest and slowest deployment in your career?
Minutes? Hours? Days? Months? Years? Let’s hear it!
Don’t settle for months, you’ve got Equinix within minutes. Be the first to test drive Equinix Deploy and use our self-service capabilities across Equinix Metal, Equinix Network Edge and Equinix Fabric.

It took about 1.5 years to get a rack delivered to the DC of a competitor who tends to abuse contractors...
I've had a lot of problems with the service provider installing a fibre panel in a rack that was marked "to be destroyed" / the type of rack that was no longer in stock / the electrical connection partly done - then completed 3 months later...

As an ISP; probably the installation of a fibre (FTTB) in less than a week:
- Order validation at D0
- Set up of equipments (CPE) + operator part done at D+3
- intervention of technicians on the customer site on D+5
- Administrative delivery of the order the next day...
=> Very satisfied customer !
With most "big" operators, the usual delay is 4 to 6 weeks minimum.

Took me 3 years to migrate 25 petabytes of storage off standard SAN design to move it all behind a storage virtualization management framework.. by the end, that 25 petabytes became 40 Petabytes... That was 3 years with no free weekends..
